What does HA injection in dermis change?

Skin elasticity also increased after droplets HA injection in dermis.

What are the differences between cross-linked and non-cross-linked HA?

The half-life of HA in the skin is less than 24 h. In order to overcome the limited lifetime of HA caused by its rapid enzymatic degradation in vivo, cross-linking processing that produces intermolecular bonds between HA macromolecules has been developed. The crosslink technic not only change the lifetime of HA, but also its physical characteristics, from liquid to gel.

Droplets injection of cross-linked HA in dermis has better clinical effect including increasing water content in stratum corneum and skin elasticity, since it can stimulate more collagen and elastin synthesis in dermis compared with non- cross-linked HA in dermis. At the same time, cross-linked HA injection has better effect on correcting volume loss and increase the skin plumpness.

Injection of non-cross-linked HA has smoother appearance right after injection, which is more welcome by the subjects.
