This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on www.imcas.com, what they are used for and how you can accept, refuse or change your choice at any time. It completes our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (tags, pixels, local storage) work the same way: this policy calls all of them cookies.
Your choice
On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent. Until you answer, and if you refuse, only strictly necessary cookies are used. Refusing is as easy as accepting and does not limit your access to the site.
Your choice is kept for 6 months, then the banner asks again. You can change it at any time:

These cookies are required for the site to work. They do not need your consent.
- laravel_session, XSRF-TOKEN: keep you signed in and protect forms against forgery. Duration: your browsing session.
- axeptio_cookies, axeptio_authorized_vendors, axeptio_all_vendors: remember your cookie choice. Provider: Axeptio (Agilitation SAS, France). Duration: 6 months.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: protects some forms against automated abuse.
Audience measurement (only with your consent)
Count visits and understand how the site is used (pages viewed, where visitors come from) so we can improve it.

Advertising (only with your consent)
Measure the results of our advertising campaigns (for example a registration made after clicking an ad) and show our ads on Google, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn to people who visited the site. Transfers outside the European Union
Google, Meta, LinkedIn may process this data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which these companies are certified.
Embedded videos
Some pages embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube sets no cookie before you play the video.
Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in, registering for a congress or submitting an abstract.
