Birgit THOME KROMER

Mrs Dr. Birgit Thome got her PhD in Biochemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg i. Breisgau/Germany. Since 1991 she was engaged in the fields of immunology, diagnostics and biochemistry.Her industrial career started in 1991 at Abbott Diagnostic GmbH in Wiesbaden where she held positions in research and development, project management and regulatory affairs. In 2000 she moved to Berlin where she worked in R&D and project management at Wita Proteomics/Eurogentec GmbH and founded her own company for quality and regulatory affairs in 2004. She supports companies in world wide submissions of registration files and the planning and conduction of clinical trials for medical devices.Since 2012 she is joining S&V technologies where she is focusing her activities on regulatory affairs and clinical trials of innovative dermal fillers. She supports the world wide introduction of the new recently developed soft gel hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, amalian SFs.
