Douglas LEVINSON

Doug Levinson is a science-driven, innovator and serial entrepreneur who’s created and led multiple successful life science companies with innovative products spanning medical devices, pharmaecuticals, and diagnostics. Doug has extensive experience in medical aesthetics. Prior to founding Fount Bio,  Doug founded and served as CEO of Cytrellis Biosystems, a commercial stage aesthetics company that markets an FDA-cleared treatment for aesthetic dermatolgy. Cytrellis is a commercial-stage aesthetics company that markets an FDA-cleared system for the aesthetic dermatology market. Doug also has experience in venture capital investing and served as Partner at Flagship Ventures where he was a member of the life sciences investment team. He was a founding team member of TransForm Pharmaceuticals, and served on the management team until the acquisistion of TransForm by J&J. Doug was also a founding employee of Millennium Pharmaceuticals, which became the world's leading genetics and genomics company (acquired by Takeda). Doug holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard University.
