Dr. Alieksiéi Carrijo is a graduate of UFU (Federal University of Uberlândia) – Medical School (2001). He trained at the University of Alfenas School of Medicine where he completed a 2 year residency of general surgery.
Dr. Carrijo continued to further his training at the “Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Santos” Hospital where, after 3 more years, he completed his plastic surgery residency and also a fellowship in plastic surgery with Dr. Ivo Pitanguy at the “Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Rio de Janeiro” Hospital.
Dr. Carrijo has been a certified member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery since 2008.
In September 2017, Dr. Carrijo became a titular member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery after presenting his academic work on “Lipoabdominoplasty” to an examination board of plastic surgery experts.
In 2022, he joined the as a board member of Cosmiatry Commission of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery with the role of organizing events in this field.
