Anca Bordianu, MD, PhD is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Microsurgery Surgeon and Lecturer at “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania.
Her clinical and academic interests include reconstructive microsurgery, supermicrosurgery, hand surgery, and the surgical treatment of lymphedema. She is among the pioneers of lymphatic surgery in Romania, introducing advanced microsurgical techniques such as lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA) and vascularized lymph node transfer (VLNT).
Dr. Bordianu is a founding member of the Romanian Society for the Study and Treatment of Lymphedema and is actively involved in promoting multidisciplinary lymphedema care, education, and research. She has participated as an invited speaker, faculty member, and chair at numerous national and international scientific meetings.
