Dr. Michael Salivaras is a Board Certified Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon and his practice is dedicated mainly to Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

He is a member of the Brazilian, European, Emirates & International Society of Plastic Surgery, the American & International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Alumni Association of Professor Ivo Pitanguy and the Medical Society of the United Kingdom.

Dr. Salivaras received his medical degree from the National University of Athens in 1998 and his Post Graduate Certificate from the Pontifical Catholic University and Carlos Chagas Institute of Post Graduate Medical Studies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He awarded with honours the Specialist Title of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon in 2007 at the Institute Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sub-specialty training in Sao Paulo, Brazil and at the Southwestern Medical Centre at University of Texas in Dallas followed.

Dr. Salivaras had been regularly featured on  weekly TV make over “Joelle Show” on MBC and other various Gulf TV programs and magazines as well as in foreign media for his innovative cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Salivaras has been participating as the Scientific Chairman of the International Congress of Aesthetic Surgery, Anti Ageing Medicine and Medical Spa (ICAAM) and the Emirates Plastic Surgery Society Congress.

He is the medical director where he also mainly practices at Clinica Joelle in Dubai & Abu Dhabi with surgical privileges at Clemencau Medical Center,  Emirates and Danat Al Emarat Hospitals in United Arab Emirates in addittion to his Clinics in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Salivaras speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, Greek and Arabic.
