Sze Wei Matthew YEO 医师

Dr Yeo graduated from the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in year 2002. He completed his  Basic Specialty Training in year 2007. He then successfully completed Advanced Specialty Training in plastic surgery in year 2012 and was awarded the Gold Medal by the College of Surgeons, Singapore, for the national plastic surgery board examinations. In 2013, he received the Health Manpower Development Program award from the Ministry of Health and completed a one-year fellowship in Advanced Reconstructive Microsurgery in Taiwan, Republic of China, under the mentorship of world-renowned Professor Hung-Chi Chen. He was conferred Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons following successful completion of its board examinations in year 2015. He has since undergone multiple fellowships and observerships with some of the biggest names in aesthetic surgery in Australia, Belgium, South Korea, Taiwan ROC, Thailand, and the United States of America.

His key clinical interests in aesthetic practice include facial rejuvenation (non-surgical and surgical), breast surgery, and post-weight loss contouring. Dr Yeo performed a high volume of reconstructive procedures in his earlier years while working in public service, including reconstruction of the head and neck, breast, and the extremities. Dr Yeo is a visiting consultant plastic surgeon at the Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital, where he continues to share his experience with the next generation of plastic surgeons. He is academically active and frequently delivers lectures and conducts workshops at regional and local plastic surgery conferences. He is faculty for an international aesthetic surgery training institute, and is a key opinion leader for some companies engaged in the plastic surgery industry. He holds two research patents in relation to plastic surgery.
