Timothy Marten, MD, FACS is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and Founder and Director of the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery in San Francisco, California. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and went on to complete three fellowships in aesthetic surgery.Dr Marten is an internationally recognized expert on surgery to improve and rejuvenate the face, and is a member of over twenty professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.  He has made over three hundred scientific presentations on aesthetic plastic surgery, and has published numerous scientific articles and textbook chapters on facelift surgery and related topics.Dr Marten has been recognized and honored by the fashion and beauty industries and has been profiled and quoted on television, radio, and in print media including the CNN, NPR, Vogue, W, Allure, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the New York Times.
