Dr. Yoko Funasaka graduated from Kobe University School of Medicine in 1984. She graduated from Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in 1988 and got PhD.
She became an Assistant Professor in 1988, then Associate Professor at Department of Dermatology Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, and currently Professor in Nippon Medical School.
Her major is melanocyte biology, melanoma, photocarcinogenesis, chemical peeling, and laser therapy.
