Graduated in chemistry in 1994 with a thesis on chemical modifications of polysaccharides, he has developed more than twenty years of experience in the study of hyaluronic acid. Inventor of more than 10 patents on the chemical modification of hyaluronic acid, he is member of the Institute on the Study of Hyaluronic Acid (ISHAS), of the Royal Chemical Society and of the Italian Pharmaceutical Association. He is the inventor of the innovative Hyaluromimethic® technology: a new chemical derivatization and recombination of HA with functional-biological molecules.
