Elisavet LAZARIDOU Prof

Elizabeth Lazaridou, MD, PhD, is Professor in Dermatology Venereology and Head of the 2nd Department of Dermatology of the Aristotle University School of Medicine at the Papageorgiou General Hospital, in Thessaloniki, Greece. She was board certified in Dermatology in 1995 and obtained her PhD dergee in 2002.

She was trained in Dermoscopy in 2006 and 2012 at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. Her main interests include skin cancer (diagnosis and treatment), dermoscopy, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and rosacea.

She has published more than 130 scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and contributed with chapters in many Dermatology textbooks published in English and Greek. She participated with lectures in several international and national congresses and meetings.

Currently she is the President of the Hellenic Dermoscopy Society and Board Member of the International Dermoscopy Society and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
