Guoyu Zhou, MD, is presently serving as The Director of Shanghai Laser Society Committee of Medical Science and Engineering, Director of Medical Laser Research and Advance Centre of Shanghai Laser Society, Deputy Director of Medical Laser Centre of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Medical College Affiliated Ninth People’s Hospital. He has been active in the aesthetics field for more than twenty years. He is editorial advisory board member of “The Asian Aesthetic Guide”. He is well known in china for having established a series of clinical laser therapy such as “Non thermal effective PDT using krypton laser to treat port wine stains” and “Surgical infrared diode laser coagulation for venous malformation after flap rising” and “Long pulsed Nd:YAG laser treatment of infant hemangioma”. He is also specialist in cosmetic dermatological laser application of all kind management using laser/IPL or RF method. Recently, he has developed a Gentle Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser treatment for Chinese Melasma. As a professor of OMS, he also practiced laser treatment for oral maxillofacial surgery more than 26 years.
