Lee L Q PU Prof

Dr. Pu received his medical degree from Peking University and a Ph.D. degree in experimental surgery from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He did his general surgery residency at Yale University and then completed his plastic surgery residency at University of South Florida. He was board-certified by American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) in 2001. He is a Professor of Plastic Surgery at University of California Davis and practicing plastic surgery in Sacramento, California, USA. Dr. Pu has very well-rounded clinical skills in all aspects of plastic surgery and is a renowned expert in structural fat grafting, minimally invasive facial cosmetic surgery, cosmetic surgery of the breast, and reconstructive microsurgery. He has published 122 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, 24 book chapters, and one comprehensive textbook (Reconstructive Surgery of the Lower Extremity). He is now serving as the leading editor for the first ever textbook in plastic surgery (Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Asians: Principles and Techniques). He is an associate editor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a section editor of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also on the editorial board for Annals of Plastic Surgery. He has served 40 visiting professorships and given 110 invited lectures and keynote presentations. Dr. Pu is a guest oral examiner for ABPS. He holds many prestigious memberships and has served on many committees in national or international plastic surgery societies.
