Parham AARABI Prof

Parham Aarabi is the founder/CEO of ModiFace, the leading beauty-focused augmented reality company. He is also a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering in 2001. Since then, he has served two terms as a Canada Research Chair. In 2005, he was selected by MIT's Technology Review as one of the TR35 "Top Young Innovators". In 2006, he received the Premier's Catalyst Award for Innovation. He is also the recipient of the IEEE Mac Van Valkenburg Early Career Teaching Award, the 2015 University of Toronto Inventor of the Year award, as well as numerous teaching and lecturing awards.
