Rahul MEHTA

Dr. Rahul C Mehta is Vice President of Research & Development for SkinMedica, An Allergan Company. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from West Virginia University and B. Pharm. from University of Bombay. Prior to joining SkinMedica in 2005, Dr. Mehta was part of the product development team at Isis Pharmaceuticals and on the faculty at University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy. During his 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development he has authored or co-authored over 60 research publications and book chapters, over 175 poster presentations and multiple patents in pharmaceutical sciences.

Dr. Mehta is committed to creation of multi-modality evidence-based skincare products with strong biological and clinical support. His passion is to address skin quality concerns by enabling skin’s natural regenerative processes to provide physiologically balanced skin rejuvenation using products with proven activity throughout its established shelf-life. He is a strong proponent of bringing transparency claim substantiation process to minimize marketing spin of scientific data.
