Abstract

Objectives: The presentation aims to elucidate the artistic anatomy of the female torso and buttocks, focusing on achieving natural augmentation results. It intends to guide practitioners in making informed decisions when using fillers, fat transfer, and implants. Introduction: An overview of the normal anatomy sets the stage, providing a foundation for understanding aesthetic enhancements. The presentation emphasizes the importance of individualized approaches in gluteal surgery. Materials / method: The content is informed by studies examining the ideal aesthetic anatomy of the female buttocks, including characteristics distinguishing aesthetically ideal buttocks from normal ones. Techniques and considerations for different augmentation methods are explored. Results: The studies highlight key differences in body proportions and muscular development between models with ideal buttocks and average women. These findings underscore the importance of considering three-dimensional aspects and individual variations in achieving aesthetic goals in gluteal surgery.
