Hybrid injection era: comparative insights of multi-injectable agents for under-eye rejuvenation
Objectives: To compare and analyze the efficacy, safety, and indications of multiple injectable agents for under-eye rejuvenation, including hyaluronic acid fillers, collagen injectables, bio-stimulators, and bio-revitalizers. The session aims to define each product’s unique role, ideal injection plane, and synergistic potential when layered appropriately to restore volume, improve skin quality, and reduce under-eye hollowness and discoloration.
Introduction: Under-eye rejuvenation is challenging due to thin skin, vascular fragility, and multifactorial aging. Different injectables address distinct components of tissue degeneration—fillers for volume loss, collagen and stimulators for dermal support, and revitalizers for hydration and brightness. Comparing their mechanisms and outcomes helps clarify product selection and optimize treatment planning for safer, natural, and longer-lasting results.
Materials / method: A comparative clinical analysis was performed using four injectable categories: HA fillers (structural correction), collagen injectables (fibroblast activation), bio-stimulators (PDLLA, PLLA for collagenesis), and bio-revitalizers (PN/skinbooster for dermal repair). Each product was evaluated based on injection depth, session sequence, clinical effect, and complication profile. Layered and staged protocols were designed according to tear trough anatomy.
Results: HA fillers showed immediate contour restoration with precise deep placement but risked swelling if overcorrected. Collagen injectables improved firmness and texture. Bio-stimulators enhanced elasticity but required cautious dilution. Bio-revitalizers brightened tone and smoothed fine lines. Multi-product protocols combining structural, regenerative, and surface layers produced superior aesthetic harmony and sustained results.
Conclusion: Comparative insights confirm that integrating fillers, collagen solutions, bio-stimulators, and revitalizers provides a more comprehensive approach to under-eye rejuvenation. Each category offers distinct yet complementary actions. A hybrid strategy—deep filler support, collagen or stimulator reinforcement, and surface revitalization—maximizes natural outcomes while minimizing complications, representing a new paradigm in periorbital injection therapy.
