Abstract

Objectives: To determine the possibility of treating ischemia after injection CaHA we created Ischemia model. Rabbits were injected to the ear vein, vein occlusion was generated in all cases. 1 hour after occlusion, only one ear was treated for each rabbit with Hyaluronidase Introduction: Today, on the market of aesthetic medicine, several names of calcium hydroxyapatite-based preparations for introduction into soft tissues. Over the years, the use of these drugs in aesthetic medicine, since 2002, has conducted thousands of scientific studies proving the efficacy and safety of these drugs, but how to prevent and treat such terrible complications as ischemia and tissue necrosis with the introduction of a filler based on CaHA? CaHA products are not susceptible to hyaluronidase. Materials / method: The right ear was injected with 0.2 ml Crystalys + Lidociane (CaHA 1.25 ml mixed with 0.5 ml lidocaine 2%); The left ear was injected with 0.2 ml HArmonyCA (CaHA + Hyaluronic Acid (cross link) 1.25 ml mixed with 0.5 ml lidocaine 2%); 1 hour after occlusion, only one ear was treated for each rabbit with Hyaluronidase solution (300 IU) around the site of occlusion; Hyaluronidase was injected 7 times throughout the experiment. The reaction of the soft tissues was examined after 7 days with Doppler Results: CaHA administration (no hyaluronidase) caused blood vessel occlusion. The result is almost a complete lost of the blood circulation in the soft tissue of the ear (before treatment 10.72 cm/s and after, without hyaluronidase – no flow). Even with treatment, only part of the blood flow was recovered (before 11.91 cm/s and after 6.75 cm/s). After HArmonyCa injection almost completely restored blood circulation in the soft tissue of the ear (before treatment 10.72 cm/s and after 10.32cm/s), even without treatment some part of the blood flow was restored (before 11.91 cm/s and after 7.15 cm/s) Conclusion: CaHA Products are not susceptible to hyaluronidase, however we can see a better effect than without hyaluronidase treatment, but only the hyaluronidase treatment is not enough. HArmonyCa - Hyaluronidase Susceptible. Even without therapy result was better, maybe because HArmonyCa contains HA and endogenous rabbit hyaluronidase partially destroyed it, maybe Hyaluronidase injected to the right ear reached the left ear through the bloodstream and destroyed the HA in HArmonyCa.
