Objectives: 1. Understand the science and mechanism of Biostimulators in aesthetic medicine
2. Review clinical evidence supporting efficacy and safety
3. Compare Biostimulators for collagen induction with other dermal fillers
Introduction: Defining skin biostimulators as micronutrients for skin priming and stimulating body's natural production of collagen and elastin and how they compare or differ from dermal fillers.
Materials / method: Using biostimulators for skin priming prior to EBD along with skin analysis and imaging to compare treatment outcomes with and without biostimulators for skin health
Results: Skin elasticity and firmness as well as hydration improvements as reflected by changes in chronological vs biological skin age well as when combined with other adjunct treatments, lasers and radiofrequency to demonstrate the restorative and regenerative benefits.
Conclusion: Overview of key studies showing efficacy, safety and patient satisfaction
Longterm benefits as result of tissue remodeling and skin rejuvenation
