Objectives: The objective of this talk is to propose method to do volumization and contouring in case of volume loss and face shape corrections , without obtaining artificial effect

Introduction: Ask for rectification of facial lack of volume is very frequent. This lack of volume most often results from weight loss, aging or face that is naturally gaunt or asymmetrical. More recently, there has been an increase in demand for optimization of facial shapes – judged too round, too elongated – from a younger population.
However, for most of these cases, faces are treated similarly to try to improve the needs in volume/lifting effect, through important volumes in cheekbones and the suborbital area, resulting in exaggerated projections and artificial effect

Materials / method: In this presentation, we will propose elements to consider when analyzing a face, its proportion and its harmony, in order to evaluate the actual need in volumization and contouring and to present a type of treatment able to give optimized and "refreshed" facial traits and expressions

Results: Pre-treatment analysis based on current facial elements of our patients is essential. Some proportions, static ans dynamic point of projections and some facial curves are particularly important to take into account before to decide which kind of treatment we need to perform, where we have to inject and which product we have to choose or to combine

Conclusion: this analysis is to present a way to analyse and to treat lack of volumization and optimization of contouring while avoiding “cloned” faces which stigmatize all the patients. Discussing the golden rules that one shall be familiar with before starting aesthetic practice in order to be able to avoid and manage possible complications.

Introduction: Aesthetic Practice has expanded a lot nowadays and is currently being practiced extensively. Many procedures are being performed daily but either due to lack of training or experience or lack of precautions or enough focus during the setting, the incidence of adverse events is on the rise.

Materials / method: Review of literature and personal experience on met cases with aesthetic complications suggesting a systematic approach to avoiding and dealing with certain met complications in the real practice setting

Results: Every practice is always threatened by the risk of adverse events. Proper training and alertness leads to the best outcome with the least risk of side effects in addition to proper management in case of any.
