Objectives: The landscape of acne treatment has significantly evolved with the advent of advanced laser technologies. We need a device that treats the most critical mechanisms involved (sebum secretion, infection with C. acnes, inflammation, and hyperkeratinization). Also, we must consider the cost, the speed of effects, the downtime, and the recurrences in the long term. Ongoing research and potential innovations, such as AI integration, promise to further refine and personalize acne treatment. This presentation highlights advancements and impact of new laser technologies in dermatological care.
