Alexandra Mora Hernández, MD, is a Colombian Facial Plastic Surgeon and Otolaryngologist based in Bogotá, with more than three decades of clinical and surgical experience in facial and neck surgery. Her practice focuses on structural facial rejuvenation, Deep Plane Facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, periorbital surgery, otoplasty, neck rejuvenation, and selected minimally invasive facial procedures.
She earned her medical degree and specialization in Otolaryngology at Universidad del Rosario and later obtained her formal specialist degree in Facial Plastic Surgery from Universidad CES, following advanced clinical training in facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Mora is a Past President of the Colombian Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology and has served as Vice President of Facialis Academy since 2020. She is an International Member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and a Full Member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS).
Her international academic activity has been documented since 1997. At IMCAS, she has served on the IMCAS Americas Scientific Committee (2022–2026) and as Session Chair and Speaker across multiple IMCAS Americas and IMCAS World Congress editions (2018–2026), presenting on rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, lip lift, facelift optimization, structural facial rejuvenation, and surgical and non-surgical neck & face rejuvenation.
Her scientific contributions include publications with Aesthetic Surgery Journal / Oxford University Press, Springer, Thieme Revinter, and Acta de Otorrinolaringología & Cirugía de Cabeza y Cuello.
She is the creator of Aesthetic Integrity™, a diagnosis-driven clinical approach centered on structural assessment, proportionality, identity preservation, therapeutic restraint, and long-term planning. Within this framework, she developed the Facial Integrity Scale™ (FIS™), a proposed structural decision framework currently in academic development and evaluation.
