Dr. Torres is the Over-All Doctor & Training Officer of MARIE FRANCE Bodyline International (based in Switzerland) where he started work in 1998. LASERs & EBDs that he uses in MFBI Slimming Centers are UltraShape VDF, CoolSculpt, Vela Smooth, Vela Shape, Vela Contour, VENUS Legacy, VENUS Freeze, i-Lipo Ultra Plus, i-Lipo Xcell, Regen Tripolar, Maximus TriLipo, Legend Multipolar, B-shape Unipolar, LPG Endermologie, and TANITA Body Composition Analysis.
He is a Medical Doctor specializing in Weight (Fat) Loss, Non-Invasive Aesthetic Slimming and Body Figure Shaping. He was a Plenary Speaker during the 1st World Congress on Advances in Body Contouring in 2009 by PSLSI, PSCS, PADSFI, & PAAS. He's a member of local, regional and international associations regarding Obesity+Aesthetics. He attends regular conventions to update himself and has been invited several times as a Guest Speaker for Medical Associations he's involved with. He's also a National Delegate (Phil. Asso. for the Study of Overweight and Obesity) to the International Congress on Obesity with a Specialist Certification on Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE) by the World Obesity Federation (International Association for the Study of Obesity) with a Scholarship Grant. He's also a graduate of the elite Obesity Summer School, Réseau Canadién Obésité.
During his undergrad years in the University of the Philippines, he attended subjects in Diploma in Sports (D.S.) and courses in Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.E.) before eventually taking up a Pre-Medical Curriculum (B.S. Zoology) in the University of the East where he got his doctorate degree in Medicine. He even worked as a Part-Time Gym Instructor at the University of Life TRack Arena (ULTRA) before taking up medicine. ULTRA is now known as the Philippine Sports Complex. It was where athletes of the "Gintong Alay" Project trained in Manila for Olympic Gold aspirations as a gift to Filipinos.
It was actually during one of his major subjects (Human Anatomy & Physiology) in the Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation, that he got interested in being a Medical Doctor. ISPEAR is now known as the College of Human Kinetics in UP.
