Thread lifting complications and treatments: introduction

Objectives: LIFTING THREADS:
COMPLICATIONS, CASE REPORTS, and TREATMENTS.

Introduction: Threads Main Complications.

Materials / method: Case Studies from our Doctors Clinics.
Using Xline PDO Threads for more than 3 years,
in cooperation with more than 400 dermatologists and plastic surgeons,
we collected this data from the doctors case reports day by day, week by week,
And below you will find all expected complications that could face any doctor with threads.

Results: The main complications is in the coming part of the lecture.

Conclusion: All complications of threads are temporary and easy to be treated.

2-Mild Swelling and Discoloration.
3-Pain and inflammation.
4-Asymmetry.
5-Superficial Threads.
6-Threads go out.
7-Bruises, Trauma.
8-Sever Swelling, Edema, Hematoma.
9-Scars at the opening.
10-Pigmentation.
11-Infection, Abscess formation.

Case study of each complication explaining how to avoid and how to treat

Objectives: The most common side effects, and almost 80% of patients has rippling.

Introduction: Causes:
- Irregular implantation level of threads.
- Threading into more superficial layer.
- Very thin skin patient.
- Over aged too loose skin.
- Over Correction.
- Too much excess skin

Materials / method: TREATMENT:

Massage.
Subcision.
Derma Pen.

Results: Effectively resolved.

Conclusion: There is variation of severity of the rippling.
1-Mild ... will be resolved itself in few days without any interfering.
2-Moderate ... will take more longer time maybe 3-4 weeks,
it is better to do gentle massage to remove it in the session.
3- Sever ... Must be released in the session because if not, will be very annoying to the patient for very long time.
