Natural Midface Augmentation in a layered combination technique using different injectable materials
Depending on the assessment diagnose: in which layer this individual patient has aged, different materials are chosen and injected in one session
Introduction: Midface augmentation is one of the most popular augmentation areas with soft tissue filler since decades. Today we are facing patients with a so called overfilled face syndrome due to too much Hyaluronic acid placed deep on the bone or into the deep fat pockets. Generally the Hyaluronic acid products can volumise and hydrate beautifully when used in the correct layer and in the correct Hyaluronic acid concentration and volume amount
Materials / method: Today a second substance, consisting of Microspheres loaded with Calciumhydroxyapatite used as collagen stimulation, shows a nice complement to Hyaluronic acid. It improves skin texture , activates the patients fibroblasts and leads to the production of collagen and elastic fibers, which leads to thicker skin and nicer skin used areas. Since Calciumhydroxylapatite does not have a similar water retention capacity as Hyaluronic acid the combination of both substances in a layering technique is favorable for a good and natural Midface augmentation.
Conclusion: In this lecture anatomically related a combination of both soft tissue filler in a layering technique will be shown in a video and discussed the pros and cons to do this layering Combination technique combined in one session
