Dr. Suwanchinda is a globally renowned dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon from Thailand. She is a recognized pioneer in aesthetic medicine, procedural dermatology, and regenerative aesthetics, with over 30 years of academic, clinical, and global leadership.
She earned her MD from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, followed by an MSc in Dermatology from Boston University School of Medicine, USA, and a PhD in Dermatology from Mae Fah Luang University. Her advanced surgical training includes Mohs micrographic surgery and laser dermatology, with international fellowships in the USA and Germany under esteemed mentors such as Dr. Jeffrey Klein, Prof. Lawrence Field, Dr. Gerhard Sattler, and Prof. Eckart Heneke.
Dr. Suwanchinda is the global innovator of the “Posterior Temporal SupraSMAS Lifting Technique”—a landmark, minimally invasive method for facial rejuvenation. This technique has set a new global standard in temple lifting and facial contouring and is now taught worldwide in advanced procedural courses.
Her clinical contributions extend to melasma, acne scars, plasma skin regeneration, and filler complication protocols—areas in which she has authored influential publications and educational curricula for global aesthetic societies.
Dr. Suwanchinda serves as Vice President of both the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) and the Association of Dermatologic Surgeons (ADS) Thailand, and one of the scientific leadership in the IMCAS global congress series—including IMCAS Paris, IMCAS Asia, and IMCAS China —where she is both a Scientific Board Member and Course Coordinator for IMCAS ASIA.
She is a Global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Merz Aesthetics and PharmaResearch, and a recipient of the Global Impact Award in recognition of her international contributions to aesthetic medicine and regenerative dermatology. Dr. Suwanchinda plays an active role in product development, physician education, and clinical safety standardization in injectables, energy-based devices, and regenerative therapies. Her expertise influences global product development, clinical safety standards, and physician education.
Academically, she has been an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Ramathibodi University Hospital since 1996 and currently teaches at Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and 6 book chapters . She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based aesthetic practice worldwide.
Dr. Suwanchinda has delivered keynote lectures, live demos, and expert masterclasses in over 30 countries. She is a recipient of the ASDS–ITMP Outstanding Contribution Award from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and remains at the forefront of global aesthetic innovation and education.
