Dr Jan BERNARDY

Jan Bernardy is a veterinarian (MVDr.) with a Ph.D. in swine immunology with more than 20 years of experience in animal research and applied science. Since 2004, he has been in the Chamber of the Veterinary Surgeons of the Czech Republic and has served 4 terms as president and vice president. MVDr Bernardy, contemporary a vice-president of the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners (UEVP), acted in the EU Consilium, chairing animal welfare expert groups (Council Directive 93/119/EC on the protection of animals at the time of slaughter or killing and Directive 2010/63/EU on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes.) during the Czech presidency of the EU. His work was described in more than 30 published articles, with 11 describing the molecular mechanism of action of non-invasive body and face contouring.
