Objectifs de la session

What could be more important for a conference on dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine than a specific session dedicated to surgical dermatology? With more than 1.5 million new cases of skin tumors per year worldwide, optimal surgical care is essential, both from an oncological and a functional and aesthetic standpoint. During this session, we will discuss the main types of skin reconstruction, with a focus on the nose and perioral areas. From tips and tricks in dermatological surgery to anesthesia and Mohs surgery, major topics will be covered for both beginners and experienced dermatological surgeons. Finally, we will discuss skin imaging with LC-OCT and HD ultrasound, which are important tools for the future of dermatologic surgery.
