Objectives: Lecture - Lifting capacity of BoTN therapy. Lifting via relaxation: glabella, forehead, eyelid, jaw line BoNT therapy is one of the most frequent and popular procedur among dermatologies and patients due to high efficiency, low risk of adverse reactions and their reversibility. We used BoNT therapy for correction or prevention mimic wrinkles… However, today we have another estimate of the ability of this method – using a muscle relaxation we can achieve a visual lifting effect. Objectives: underline possibility to improve facial profiloplasty and parafunctions with AboBoNT-A

Introduction: Masseter muscle is a scheletal muscle very important in square patients, with an hypertrophy of this muscle but also as gold standard treatment for parafunctions.

Materials / method: The study of patients, the best dilution, the units used and the technique of injection of AboBoNT-A are discussed in the presentation. Less Units are necessary in bruxer patients while to get a visible reduction of the facial profile more units are used. All details to avoid spreading in mimetic nearby muscles are discussed.

Results: Results are visible in few days after injections for parafunctions while to get the hypotrophy of the muscle some months are necessary, in average 2 treatments.

Conclusion: AboBoNT-A is a useful technique to improve facial profile and in parafunctions. Complications are very low if the technique is well done

Objectives: To learn the Posterior Approach at the occipital area for neck lifting by Intradermal toxin injection. The anatomy of the neck should be thoroughly understood. The muscles of the neck including Trapezius, Sternocleidomastoid, Platysma and Subplatysmal muscles. For the Subplatysmal muscles we have Digastric muscle, Stylohyoid muscle and Infrahyoid muscle to beware of. We have some important retaining ligaments such as Plastysma Auricular Ligament, Parotid Cutaneous Ligament and Plastyma Cutaneous Ligament.

Introduction: An intradermal injection technique is a variation of the intramuscular or subcutaneous injection technique usually performed with botulinum toxin for facial rejuvenation and lifting. Off face injection especially the neck area can be performed with nice results. The technique applied to shows interesting effects of BoNT on collagen production and degradation of human dermal fibroblasts and provides the background for using intradermal BoNT injection for remodeling of dermal tissues in aged skin.

Materials / method: We also found that type of BoNT-A and their effects on dermal fibroblast contraction is different. We did the intradermal neck injection with dosage as following : dilute 200u with 10cc, 100u 5cc, 50u 2.5cc . we injected 0.05-0.07 ml per point of injection with 1-1.5 u per point of injection. The injection points are 30-50 points per side with 45-75u per side so the total dosage for both sides are 90-150u. Roughly I would use the bottle of 200u to complete the whole neck. We approach from posterior occipital area to the lateral side of the neck.

Results: we found the the posterior approach gain more results than conventional anterior injection of the neck with lesser side effects. The side effect is very minimal with some bruising. We did not notice any serious complications of Dysphagia, neck pain or neck weakness.

Conclusion: Intradermal Toxin Injection of The neck is an good alternative for neck lifting and rejuvenation.
