Dr. Rosa Maria SIGRIST

Dr. Sigrist is a board-certified radiologist and works at the Department of Ultrasound of the Institute of Radiology, School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). She is the scientific director of the Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Ultrasound (SBUD) and the dermatologic ultrasound commission of the Brazilian Society of Ultrasound (SBUS).  

She worked in 2015-2016 as researcher at the Body Imaging Division at Stanford University, with focus on ultrasound, authoring several clinical papers and has more than 650 citations. Dr. Sigrist has written a few chapters of the book “Utrassonografia aplicada à dermatologia e à cosmiatria” (in translation).

She founded Ultrassonando in 2020, an ultrasound service dedicated to dermatology and aesthetic complications.  She is also a lecturer and ultrasound trainer for dermatology and aesthetics.
