Objectives: This study evaluated patients treated post-FDA clearance and compared real world 18-month results and complications in them to those seen in the pivotal 12-month FDA study .

Introduction: 1726nm laser technology has been shown to produce long-term improvement in acne

Materials / method: A comparison of the 3,6,12 month FDA data results with real-life experience in patients treated after FDA clearance and then followed for 18 months.

Results: Real life experience is similar to that seen in FDA studies. Other sebaceous gland related skin issues can also respond to treatment.

Conclusion: 1726nm laser treatment of acne produces long- term improvement in most patients.

Objectives: Review the types of acne scars as well as the pathophysiology of acne scarring.
Discuss factors affecting scar treatment.
Address available treatments with a specific focus on effective combination therapies for acne scarring.

Introduction: The pathophysiology of acne scarring is not fully understood but includes genetic predispositions, intensity and duration of inflammation, and aberrant wound healing. Eliminating Scars is unlikely and no matter the therapy, patients will need multiple treatments. Factors to be considered when determining treatment include scar type, presence of active acne, skin color of patient, cost of treatments, available downtime and patient preferences.

Materials / method: Extensive review of the literature for randomized clinical trials assessing acne scarring treatments with a focus on combination therapies.

Results: There are many types of acne scarring treatments available with no gold standard. Randomized clinical trials are limited but demonstrate that results are best with combination therapies that consider many treatment factors and must be individualized for the patient.

Conclusion: There is no gold standard acne scarring treatment. Patients should be treated early even at the first acne visit for best outcomes. It is important to treat scar associated erythema. Patient's expectations must be managed as it is difficult to eliminate scars completely. Multiple treatments are necessary that will require costs to the patient as well as downtime but success is achievable.

Objectives: The primary objective of this lecture is to explore new treatment options for acne scars, focusing on Endo Radiofrequency (RF) and hybrid lasers with 1550nm/1925nm wavelengths. We aim to provide an in-depth understanding of these technologies, evaluating their mechanisms, efficacy, and safety. Attendees will learn about clinical outcomes, patient selection criteria, and practical application strategies to enhance their ability to offer effective acne scar treatments.

Introduction: Acne scars significantly affect patients' quality of life, posing a challenge in dermatological treatments. Recent technological advancements have introduced innovative solutions like Endo RF and hybrid lasers. Endo RF is a minimally invasive technique that delivers controlled RF energy beneath the skin surface for precise dermal remodeling. Hybrid lasers combine non-ablative and ablative wavelengths, targeting both superficial and deeper skin layers for comprehensive scar improvement.

Materials / method: This lecture will examine the mechanisms and application of Endo RF and hybrid lasers. Endo RF involves the use of a specialized device to deliver RF energy subdermally, promoting collagen remodeling. Hybrid lasers utilize dual wavelengths of 1550nm and 1925nm to achieve both superficial and deep skin resurfacing. We will discuss patient selection criteria, treatment protocols, and the integration of these technologies into clinical practice.

Results: Clinical practice have demonstrated significant improvements in acne scar appearance using Endo RF and hybrid lasers. Patients experienced enhanced skin texture and reduced scar visibility with minimal downtime. The combination of RF energy and dual-wavelength laser technology allows for targeted treatment of various scar types, providing versatile and effective solutions. Attendees will gain insights into these promising results and their implications for clinical practice.

Conclusion: Endo RF and hybrid lasers represent significant advancements in the treatment of acne scars, offering effective and minimally invasive options.
