Objectives: Artificial Intelligence means the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, mimic their actions, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, translation between languages , precise performance, etc.Although in initial phase the performance was 90% human and 10% machine , the idea is to have 90% machine derived automated optimal performance with 10% human involvement which could be direct or remote. Introduction: Many apps are being developed all over the world where the idea is to assist a treating Dermatologist or Physicians in making a clinical diagnosis, assist in the process and also assist a not so experienced physician to make a common diagnose in places where a specialist is not available so as to benefit the patient. Results: The idea is not to mistake and misdiagnose the common skin disease as well as to distinguish and diagnose various kinds of malignancies. Also apps are being developed to assist the treating Aesthetic physicians to predict the outcome of the patient before and after the procedure and also the normal course if not treated.This helps in convincing the patients of the possible outcomes along with giving the treating physicians a good idea of places they do require attention as well as bench mark results. Conclusion: Overall the future of various fields of human life is going to be involving AI and Dermatology and Aesthetics would be no exception.
