Poly-biorevitalization and mesobotulinumtoxinA
Objectives: understand how Abo-BoNT-A must be diluted in Poli-Bio-Revitalizers + HA (PBRHA) to get best results and avoid complications(1)
Introduction: aging of the skin and dermis is crucial in the appearance of our patients and it is one of the most important signe of age increase. PBRHA are very effective if injected in the right very superficial layers of the epidermis, especially at the basal membrane. At this level there are many targets very sensitive also to BoNT-A and so the synergistic effect of PBRHA + BoNT-A make sence to revitalize superficial payers of the skin. The author published many years ago in his book Facial Aging, 1st edition, the personal experience.
Materials / method: the author hase diluted a PBR+HA 3 ml with AboBoNT-A 125U according to a particular technique described in the presentation. in the upper-mid third of the face only PBR + HA is injected intradermally using a needle 0,6 mm long while in the lower third, neck and decolletè, Abo-BoNT-A is added to the remaining solution and injected with a particular device, a 0,6 mm needle, to arrive exactly to the target, the basal membran and avoid diffusion deeper and so complications.
Results: results and complications are shown in the presentation and some clinical cases are discussed
Conclusion: PBRHA with mesoAboBoNT-A is a very effective and easy technique if done following some rules the Author has published many years ago in his book on Facial Aging. Add more units, dilute differently or treat different areas can lead to complications and less results, missing the right target and the perfect depthness.
