Objectives: -To learn about commonly used resurfacing and energy based devices in a plastic surgery practice with connected medical spa -To learn about laser safety in the OR -To learn new innovations in skincare, resurfacing and EBD and their applications as stand-alone treatments to improve facelift and facial aesthetic surgery -To discuss risks of treatments and potential complications and how to manage them Introduction: This lecture is a part of The Aesthetic Society/ IMCAS' joint panel on aesthetic surgery and medicine. Materials / method: This is a case review of EBD and laser treatments as well as topical skincare/ chemical peels involved in the plastic surgery practice. Results: Multiple before and after photos will be shown as well as intra-op and intra-procedure photos and videos. Conclusion: The addition of EBD and laser to facial aesthetic surgery as well as a standalone in the medical spa can enhance results. This lecture discusses the newer innovations in these treatments and their applications and safety profile.
