Objectives: The objectives of this presentation is to examine the physician perspective of having HUDs for our patients. Introduction: Home Use Devices (HUDs) have become commonplace around the globe for patients interested in doing home treatments in the aesthetic space either alone or as adjunctive therapy from health care providers. What was once felt that these devices would “hurt” physician visits and take away from potential income from medical personal has truly not been the case. Materials / method: HUDs can be an entry way for patients to begin the rejuvenation or hair removal process for some, and many have used these products to compliment what we, as providers do, in our office settings. Results: New and exciting HUDs are emerging into the global marketplace and we will review these and how they are changing the HUD landscape.
