The indications for the P(LA/CP) thread methods depend on the age of the patients and the degree of ptosis
The importance of associating thread methods to fillers, toxins and EBD devices to perform a nonsurgical facelift.
Introduction: Beauty standards have always been extremely prevalent throughout human history , and today they strongly influence everyday communication, the media, and the business world.
Materials / method: It’s a retrospective study held from november 2021 to June 2024 including 234 P(LA/CP) thread procedures. For each patient, we have registered the age, the area treated with threads and the thread method used and the filler or toxin injection or the EBD device associated.
Results: 95% of the patients were women, only 5% men.
70% of the patients are aged from 35 to 55 years old and their main demand is face rejuvenation and natural looking face lift.
19% of the patients are aged from 56 to 72 years old and we performed for them mini invasive facelift with p(LA/CP) associated to filler, toxin injections and EBD devices.
11% of the patients age from 23 to 34 years old and they were performed for them eyebrow lift, nose remodeling and jawline contouring with P(LA/CP) threads
Conclusion: So, as always, the aesthetic doctor has a crucial role: understating the needs and wants of the patients, of all ages, of all ethnics and opt for the best treatment.
With thread methods associated to fillers, toxins and EDB devices we can perform a non surgical facelift with a short recovery time and long lasting results.
