Objectives: The ageing face involves change in volume as well as position of the fat pads of the face . Simply replenishing volume loss will not achieve the most natural aesthetic result . This requires a more comprehensive approach involving repositioning and replenishing volume loss . Combining Hyaluronic acid fillers with thread lift is especially useful in the ageing face and the big face with soft. Tissue excess. The Indian face has its own challenges and a combination approach is more appropriate Introduction: -Facial rejuvenation is a wide term and involves treating multiple layers of tissues-starting from skin,subcutaneous fat,SMAS,muscle and bone.The changes related to ageing appear as skin laxity.folds,volume loss,loss of continuous lines,wrinkles and skin quality alterations.With a combination of threads+filler injection we can address volume loss,reposition skin and fat pad and recreate facial contours..At the same time with judicial designing with thread lift procedure we can give results that are closer to a surgical lift. Materials / method: We selected 30 individuals from our practice ,Alive wellness clinics,India.These individuals had skin laxity and volume loss evident is mid and lower face.Our aim was to correct the face optimally for the best aesthetic outcome.For this purpose first we repositioned fallen tissue in mid face with threads followed by HA filler injections where ever required -i.e tear trough,cheek lift,peri-auricular lift,temple lift,chin recreation and jawline definition.By the combining the two ,the result created gives immediate gratification to the patient which improves over next 1-2months. Results: By Combining threads with fillers we could achieve high patient satisfaction with immediate visible results.The advantage of these modalities 1. Faster results 2.More control in the injector’s hands-This led to more natural results without the possibility of overuse of HA fillers. 3. Longer lasting Results. 4. Need for Plastic surgery can he delayed or avoided. Conclusion: Threads and fillers in combination are an effective tool for facial rejuvenation.The results can vary depending on the skill of the Injecting doctor,type of HA fillers and Threads,patient selection and planning+designing the procedure.
