Combined Approach for Male Gluteal Beautification: Hyaluronic Acid and Fat-Reducing Agent
Objectives: To present clinical experience with male gluteal beautification using fully cross-linked HA and a fat-reducing agent, highlighting the techniques employed, procedural safety, and aesthetic outcomes observed in patients.
Introduction: The demand for more defined and aesthetically pleasing male gluteal contours is increasing in clinical aesthetic practice. Gluteal beautification with fully cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) offers an effective and minimally invasive solution, delivering natural and long-lasting results. Additionally, fat-reducing agents, such as Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholic Acid, can further enhance the aesthetic outcome by targeting and reducing localized fat deposits. This combination presents a viable alternative to more invasive surgical interventions.
Materials / method: The procedure involved a fully cross-linked HA filler specifically designed for body volumization. The technique focused on contouring the gluteus maximus muscle while maintaining a deeper trochanteric fossa, a key feature of male aesthetics. To refine the definition, a fat-reducing agent (Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholic Acid, 5-10 ml per side) was applied in the trochanteric fossa region. Approximately 30 ml of HA was injected per side, using blunt cannulas, with volumes tailored to each patient’s anatomy for harmonious and proportional gluteal enhancement.
Results: Patients reported high satisfaction with the enhanced gluteal appearance, noting visible improvements in projection and firmness with natural results. The procedure was well-tolerated, with minimal and transient adverse effects, such as mild swelling or bruising. The aesthetic outcomes remained stable over the following months, further contributing to the long-term beautification effect.
Conclusion: Clinical practice has demonstrated that combining fully cross-linked HA with fat reduction techniques, using agents like Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholic Acid, results in enhanced male gluteal beautification. This approach achieves a more defined and aesthetically pleasing contour by maintaining the natural male aesthetic of a deeper trochanteric fossa, making it an attractive option in clinical aesthetic practice.
