Full face & lips rejuvenation with HA, PRP: Injection techniques and protocols
Objectives: The future of aesthetic medicine is regenerative medicine using a conservative approach. Actually we have many patients ' requests to restore the jawline area from 20th year age until 70 years As the demanding patients are becoming younger, we need to use a conservative approach rather than filling with an important quantity of fillers leading to the classical pillow faces and heavy jawline because of the filler migration following the gravity.
Introduction: The aim of the study is to show the efficiency of a new autologous natural approach using HA platelet rich plasma for face contouring tear trough and lips rejuvenation.
Materials / method: I use the platelet rich plasma tubes with a separating gel as a medical device containing an antithrombine allowing the formation of a clot. I mix it with a prp medical device tube containing 40mg of non cross-linked Hyaluronic acid. I mix the prp HA with the fibrin clot with a ratio 9/1then i inject deeply on the periosteum in the mandibular angle and on 4 points and 3 retaining ligaments zygomatic cutaneous ligament, mandibular cutaneous ligament and platysma auricular fascia .I inject then the tear trough ligament with a 22g cannula and inject the lips with a double technique cannula&needle
Results: The result is an immediate jawline definition and face lifting thanks to the 4 points injection of HA PRP on the retaining ligaments , an improvement of the tear trough deformity and a hydration and contouring of the lips, an improvement of the skin texture and a glowing effect on the skin thanks to the growth factors contained in the prp.
No short of long term side effects have been noticed.
Conclusion: The future of aesthetic medicine is conservative and regenerative medicine allowing to use autologous growth factors stimulating the fibroblasts to produce more collagen elastin fibers and endogenous hyaluronic acid. As the social media influence is impacting the young generations demanding always more aesthetic procedures, our role as cosmetic doctor is to direct the patients towards safe autologous regenerative and conservative approaches. That insure the safety and the absence of any side affects in next and long term.
