The Role of Caha: Volumazing through Rejuvenation
Objectives: To evaluate the long-term aesthetic and safety outcomes of full-face CaHA treatment in a male patient.
Introduction: Facial aging involves complex, multidimensional changes, including volume loss, bone resorption, and skin laxity. In recent years, biostimulatory fillers such as calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) have gained attention for their dual action—providing immediate volumization and stimulating neocollagenesis for long-term tissue improvement. While CaHA is widely used in female patients, male facial aesthetics require a different approach, emphasizing angularity, structural support, and subtle enhancement. Full-face rejuvenation in men must respect masculine proportions while addressing age-related
Materials / method: One male patient underwent full-face CaHA injections targeting the temples, cheeks, and jawline using both needle and cannula techniques, strategically combining deep and superficial planes. Assessment was based on standardized photographs taken at baseline, immediately post-treatment, 7 months, and 18 months.
Results: The patient showed significant improvement in facial contour, skin quality, and volume with sustained effects over 18 months. No complications or adverse events were reported.
Conclusion: CaHA demonstrated high efficacy and safety in this male case, supporting its use in long-term facial rejuvenation and contouring.
