Transforming Body Contouring: Clinical Efficacy of a Noninvasive, Painless Combination Therapy.
Objectives: To Evaluations of noninvasive painless combination therapy that conducted with Low-Level 532 nm Laser Therapy, High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic of and Radiofrequency for body contouring.
Introduction: Body image significantly impacts self-esteem and mental health, with many individuals experiencing body image concerns due to societal pressures, media portrayals, and personal experiences.Noninvasive body contouring treatments have gained popularity as safe alternatives for body reshaping without surgery. In our study, we provided noninvasive painless combination therapy of Low-Level Laser Therapy, High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic and Radiofrequency for body shaping and contouring in patient with obesity, overweight and body image correction.
Materials / method: This prospective study included 20 adult participants (12 females, 8 males; age range 25–50 years) with overweight or obesity (BMI 25–35 kg/m²) and body image concerns.Participants received a combination therapy consisting of Low-Level Laser Therapy 532 nm applied to target areas for 30 minutes per session, High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) stimulation delivered for 30 minutes per session to induce muscle toning and Radiofrequency (RF) therapy applied for 20 minutes to twice weekly over a period of 12 weeks promote skin tightening and subcutaneous fat reduction for 24 sessions.
Results: All 20 participants completed the 12-week, 24-session combination therapy without significant adverse events. Treatment was well-tolerated, and no participants reported severe discomfort. The mean reduction of waist, leg and arm circumference reduction in treated areas was 6.2 ± 1.1 cm, with all participants achieving ≥5 cm reduction in each session. Ultrasound measurements showed a mean decrease of 32 ± 5%, with every participant achieving ≥20% reduction. Good efficacy, defined as both measurable fat reduction and patient-reported satisfaction, was achieved in 100% of participants.
Conclusion: The 12-week, 24-session noninvasive and painless combination therapy of Low-Level Laser Therapy, High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic stimulation, and Radiofrequency demonstrated excellent efficacy for body contouring in overweight and obese patients. The treatment was well-tolerated, safe, and resulted in significant reductions in body circumference and subcutaneous fat, accompanied by improved patient-reported body image satisfaction. These findings support this multimodal approach as an effective, noninvasive option for body shaping and body image enhancement.
