Clinical management of plastic surgery patients
Objectives: Attendees will be able to: (1) prepare a patients for plastic surgeries; (2) to decrease the risks of complications and to minimize the downtime; (3) to enhance reliable revenue stream at clinics.
Introduction: Nowadays plastic surgery clinics observe the inflow of patients. Thus, the demands for beneficial postsurgical results, low risks of complications and shortened downtime period are the key points. Moreover, the issue of stable revenue stream becomes essential as well.
Materials / method: The overview of the most effective methods of pre- and postsurgical treatment was conducted. The experience of their application is provided in this presentation.
Results: The combination of Low intensity EBD and injections was performed. Low intensity EBD included LED, LDM, magnetotherapy, resistive-capacitive monopolar RF, phonophoresis, electroporation, microcurrents. Injections of hyaluronic acid and botulin toxin were done.
The outcomes were significant - minimized the risk of complications and side effect,
reduction of the rehabilitation period.
Conclusion: The correct algorithm of the given methods leads to beneficial results both for the patients and for the clinics. The patients attend the clinic for follow up procedures according to the protocols increasing the financial revenue stream of the clinics.
