Hybrid Protocols in the Correction of Age-Related Changes in the Décolleté Area: Devices and Injectables. Strategies for Course Therapy.
Objectives: To design effective and safe hybrid protocols for the correction of age-related changes in the décolleté area by combining device-based methods and injectables within a single treatment plan.
Introduction: The décolleté is an anatomical area particularly prone to complex age-related changes, including hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture, loss of skin elasticity, and the appearance of superficial and deep wrinkles. Despite these issues, the area is often neglected in clinical practice due to the traditionally high number of procedures required. Hybrid protocols offer an opportunity to achieve significant results with fewer visits, ensuring both safety and patient compliance.
Materials / method: Patients over 45 years with hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, reduced skin elasticity, and wrinkles were included. Each treatment course comprised no more than three visits. Hybrid protocols varied between sessions and included device-based procedures (e.g., laser resurfacing), topical exosomes, poly-L-lactic acid, non-stabilized hyaluronic acid and fillers.
Results: All patients underwent three hybrid sessions. Protocols combining device-based treatments and topical exosomes were characterized by rapid recovery (2–3 days), minimal discomfort, and high tolerance. The most pronounced clinical results were observed 30 days after the final procedure, including improvement in pigmentation, skin tone, elasticity, and reduction of wrinkles. The effects persisted for up to 12 months. Patients reported high satisfaction with both the process and outcomes.
Conclusion: Hybrid protocols that combine device-based treatments, injectables, and topical agents provide significant, predictable, and long-lasting results in the correction of age-related changes in the décolleté area. Properly structured protocols reduce the number of clinic visits, ensure patient comfort, and increase overall satisfaction.
