However, performing it in very young (<25 years) or elderly (>65 years) What are the benefits and limitations of hair transplants at these age extremes? Results: Thanks to the diversity of available techniques, and the possibility to perform them with minimal or no shaving, each method can be tailored to permanent alopecia regardless of age, gender, or ethnic origin. The specific choice between FUT and FUE is guided by digital trichoscopy and a multifactorial classification system.
