SMAS surgical incisions, different concepts and vectors [10 min]
目标: SMAS VECTORS, by VLADIMIR MITZ
SMAS VECTORS, by VLADIMIR MITZ
SMAS Vectors, by Vladimir Mitz
介绍: Since the initial description of the SMAS concept in 1976 by Vladimir Mitz and Martine Peyronie, there have been numerous variations in the use of these structures of great surgical interest, although purist anatomists still recently dispute certain elements of this composite structure. Two main types of vectors can be distinguished that have been used in the face, as in the neck area everyone seems to agree on the benefit of a 45-degree vector pulling the platysma toward the mastoid for correcting flattening:
结果: 1) Horizontal vectors, such as those described by Tord Skoog, and Sam Haùra;
2) Vertical vectors, such as those described by John Owsley and Vladimir Mitz.
This presentation aims to clarify the history and the various contributions of the authors who, from the 1980s onwards, became interested in the manipulation of the SMAS in order to identify the essential surgical principles which allow both a very good retensioning of the SMAS while leaving a face of natural appearance, not deformed by an inappropriate vector of traction.
总结: Verical vector is recommend for SMAS pull in the cheek area
