Objectives: To evaluate the results of using a new peel combining TCA with croton oil Introduction: Chemical peels are procedures in which a chemical substance is applied to the skin, inducing various reactions such as exfoliation, keratolysis, controlled necrosis, and subsequent healing. They can be classified as superficial, medium, or deep, depending on their depth of action. They are indicated for the treatment of dyschromias, acne, skin aging, among other skin conditions. The objective of this study is to present a new peel combining trichloroacetic acid with croton oil. Conclusion: The phenol peel was temporarily banned in Brazil following the report of a death associated with the procedure. As a result, there has been a search for safe and effective alternatives capable of producing similar results. This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of a new peel combining trichloroacetic acid (TCA) with croton oil as a potential substitute for phenol.
