Objectives: Highlighting new safe scar therapy protocols Introduction: Treating scars of various origins has been and remains a challenge for cosmetologists. With the advent of new scientific data, our treatment options have expanded. The combined use of hardware and injection methods has increased compliance among our patients. Materials / method: In the treatment of hypertrophic scars of various origins and ages, we have used combination protocols such as CO2 resurfacing combined with injectable amino acids and peptides. For normotrophic scars, we believe the safest and most effective treatment is the use of a vascular dye laser combined with injectable collagen in the early stages, starting at one month, once scar tissue has fully formed. The following protocol has proven effective in working with atrophic scars: fractional non-ablative thermolysis with a wavelength of 1550 nm in combination with PDRN therapy. Results: Our therapy demonstrates significant results and patient satisfaction. Conclusion: The use of modern EBD in one session with injection methods gives the most striking results in the shortest possible time.
