Objectives: To demonstrate a new anatomic and regenerative fat grafting technique that shows dynamic improvement in volume 19 months after treatment
Introduction: Introduction: Fat grafting to the face is a common procedure, but longer term results have shown variability of graft take with most studies reporting 25% improvement in facial volume 2 years after treatment.
Materials / method: Materials and Methods: Herein, using an anatomic and regenerative approach, we treated 29 patients and followed them for 19 months with 3D facial imaging.
Results: Patients under 55 years old showed progressive improvement in facial volume, with nearly an 80% improvement in mid-facial volume 19 months after treatment. Patients over 55 having the same standardized fat grafting procedure, demonstrated a gradual loss of facial volume, showing around a 30% improvement 19 months after treatment. Multiple regression analysis revealed statistically significant outcomes regardless of weight gain or loss or the amount of fat grafted.
Conclusion: Conclusions: Facial fat grafting using a standardized anatomic and regenerative approach based on physical evidence of deep and
