Objectives: The objectives of thus presentation is to demonstrate the new concepts in microneedling RF technology.

Introduction: Microneedling with RF needles has become a very popular modality for treating wrinkles, photodamaged skin, and atrophic acne or traumatic scars. Many of the EBD companies have developed microneedling RF devices that use either insulated or non-insulated needles and use fractional or stamp delivery of the needles into the skin.

Materials / method: The different devices that are available now will be reviewed with the evidence-based medicine to support their effectiveness and their safety. In addition, some new novel devices will also be discussed and how they fit into this group of devices.

Results: This class of device for cosmetic practices has become very important and from this presentation, how they work, why they work, and how well they work will be reviewed.

Objectives: Show the use and results of the multilayer MRF and the cientific bases about it

Introduction: The microneedling radiofrequency (MRF) is a well known procedure with differents aplications. At this lesson I will focus at the improvement of facial laxity and global rejuvenation.

Materials / method: Show different personal cases of applications methods and results with videos and photos of pre and post-procedure.

Results: It is possible to notice a improviment at skin quality, hiperpigmentation, rhytids and laxity, specilly when we do more than one session.

Conclusion: The MRF is safe procedure, that can be done in all skin types with low risk of adverse effects. It has a short downtime, so that the patient can quickly return to their routine.
Its improvement is notable and scientifically proven.

Objectives: Blepharoplasma: what are the best indications, results and complications?
Avaliar as melhores indicações no uso do plasma e avaliar segurança do tratamento.

Introduction: Foram avaliadas 20 pacientes com flacidez da pálpebra superior que não desejavam fazer blefaroplastia cirúrgica a curto ou médio prazo. Neste estudo foram avaliados quais os atributos trazem melhores resultados com o tratamento com plasma.

Materials / method: Uma aplicação de plasma nas pálpebras superiores e avaliação fotográfica mensal até 3 meses após a sessão. Total de 20 mulheres foram avaliadas.

Results: Os melhores resultados foram nas pacientes que apresentavam pele fina, fototipos de I a III, com flacidez das pálpebras móveis.

Conclusion: O plasma é uma boa opção para casos leves a moderados de flacidez das pálpebras porém não apresenta bons resultados em casos onde existe a presença de bolsa de gordura, pele espessa e ptose de sobrancelha, devendo ser reservado aos casos onde a paciente não deseja fazer cirurgia e flacidez discreta a moderada.

Objectives: se habla sobre lo mas reciente en investigacion en el campo de los laseres fraccionados en la actualidad, dar un panorama de hacia donde vamos en este campo de las energias aplicadas a la medicina.

Introduction: los laseres ablativos cambiaron apartir del 2004 cuando aparece la publicacion de la fototermolisis fraccional descrita por el dr. Dieter Manstein, cambian de ser de onda continua a fraccionados y de ahi pulsados y suprapulsados.

Materials / method: se hablara sobre los nuevos laseres llamados CORE , que es lo mas reciente en este campo de los laseres fraccionados asi como los Fraccionados en picosegundos, con nuevas aplicaciones en el campo de la dermatologia tanto medica como cosmetica.

Results: se presentan los antes y despues de diferentes patologias tratadas con laser CORE y con Laser fraxx en Picosegundos , para ver las ventajas y desventajas que estas tecnologias emergentes nos ofrecen , para diversas enfermedades que anteriormente no se podria ofrecer mucho.

Conclusion: el avance en el campo de los laseres en el area de fraccionados se ha visto que ha dado pasos grandes hacia adelante en el tratamiento mejor de patologias dermatologicas cosmeticas y medicas , que anteriormente NO habia mucho que ofrecer, con resultados optimos, sin grandes efectos adversos .
